A few years back there was an interesting study done on New York City subway cars.
The researcher, Susan Schiffman, sprayed pleasant aromas -- like that of chocolate chip cookies -- into the cars to observe their effects on commuters.
What were the results?
Remarkably, Schiffman discovered that these pleasant aromas made subway riders less pushy and more agreeable!
Hmm...
You think that might work at home?
... To help put everybody at ease and easier to deal with on a day-to-day basis?
Well I don't know of any formal research... but I do know there are hundreds of essential oil users that would say, "Absolutely!"
Thanks to the powerful and pleasing aromas of essential oils, they can be a great way to create a more relaxed, laid back home environment.
So if you'd like a more "chill" atmosphere at your house, you might want to give this a try.
And it's easier than having to bake chocolate chip cookies all the time!
